Warranty Policy – Astreea Igloo

Effective: January 1, 2026

This document sets forth the terms of a Limited Warranty offered by Astreea Americas LLC and applies only to Astreea Igloo products purchased and used in the United States.

1. Residential Use Limited Warranty

1.1 What’s Covered

This limited warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship for the following components of the Astreea Igloo when used in a residential (non-commercial) setting:

Aluminum Frame (6063T66): covered for 2 years from the original date of purchase
Polycarbonate Cover (UV-resistant, 1.5–2 mm): covered for 1 year from the original date of purchase

For purposes of this warranty, a “defect” is defined as a material or manufacturing flaw that substantially impairs the use or structural integrity of the product.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser, who must provide proof of purchase. Products gifted or resold are not eligible for coverage under this warranty.

1.2 What’s Not Covered

Accessories, add-ons, and third-party components are not covered under this warranty. Coverage applies only to the standard Astreea Igloo aluminum frame and polycarbonate cover.

Misuse, abuse, or failure to follow the installation manual
Incomplete or partial installation
Failure to properly anchor the structure
Damage caused by wind events exceeding the tested thresholds, or by any storm, hurricane, tornado, or other natural disaster

Note: Wind resistance values are based on internal testing under controlled conditions and are provided for guidance only. Wind resistance depends on anchoring method:

Without anchoring: up to 25 km/h (15.5 mph)
With weights or spikes: up to 50 km/h (31 mph)
Bolted to hard surface: up to 70 km/h (43.5 mph)

Unauthorized modifications or third-party alterations
Normal wear and tear, discoloration, or cosmetic changes that do not affect structural integrity
Use of the product in a commercial or business environment

1.3 Remedies

If a valid claim is approved, Astreea Americas LLC will provide replacement parts for the defective components. We do not cover labor, installation, removal, or reinstallation costs.

If the identical part is no longer available, we may substitute a similar part of equal or greater value. The customer is responsible for shipping and handling costs related to warranty replacement parts unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

1.4 How to Submit a Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, you must provide the following:

A clear description of the issue
Supporting photo or video evidence
Your order number and proof of purchase (e.g., confirmation email or invoice)
The date and location of purchase, if available

Once submitted, our team will verify your purchase against internal records and contact you with next steps.

Warranty claims must be submitted within 30 days of discovering the defect. Failure to do so may result in denial of the claim.

We aim to review and respond to all warranty claims within 15 business days of receiving complete documentation. Resolution and part replacement timelines may vary depending on availability, shipping conditions, or the nature of the claim.

1.5 State Law Rights

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Therefore, the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

1.6 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Astreea Americas LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the product, including but not limited to loss of profits, business interruptions, or personal injury.

Liability is strictly limited to the repair or replacement of defective components as stated in this warranty.

1.7 Governing Law

This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

2. Commercial Use Limited Warranty

Commercial use subjects the product to significantly higher stress and wear, therefore reduced warranty periods apply.

2.1 What’s Covered

When used in a commercial setting (such as hospitality, retail, or events), the Astreea Igloo is covered under a limited warranty as follows:

Aluminum Frame (6063T66): covered for 1 year from the original date of purchase
Polycarbonate Cover (UV-resistant, 1.5–2 mm): covered for 1 year from the original date of purchase

2.2 What’s Not Covered

All exclusions listed in the Residential Use Warranty also apply to commercial use, including:

Improper installation
Failure to anchor properly
Acts of nature
Wear and tear
Modifications or misuse

2.3 Remedies

Same as the Residential Warranty. If a valid claim is approved, Astreea Americas LLC will provide replacement parts only.

Labor, installation, or reinstallation costs are not covered. If the identical part is no longer available, we may substitute a part of equal or greater value. The customer is responsible for any applicable shipping and handling costs.

2.4 How to Submit a Claim

2.5 State Law Rights, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law

These clauses apply equally to the commercial warranty and are identical to the terms listed under the Residential Use Limited Warranty.

This warranty is the only express warranty provided by Astreea Americas LLC. No dealer, reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to modify or extend this warranty or make any representations on behalf of the company beyond what is stated herein.
