Important before you begin
Installing an Astreea Igloo is a multi-step process that requires preparation, space, and planning.

Site preparation and positioning
Choosing the right installation location in advance is essential.
Before assembly, please make sure that:

the surface is flat, level, and stable

there is sufficient clearance around the Igloo for assembly

you have decided on the Igloo orientation (door access, sun direction, wind exposure)
We recommend assembling the Igloo in dry weather and low-wind conditions. Changing weather conditions during installation may affect alignment and stability.
We strongly advise completing the assembly in one continuous process. Leaving the Igloo partially assembled may compromise structural alignment, especially if weather conditions change.
Anchoring: required and planned in advance
Anchoring is a required part of the Astreea Igloo installation and must be planned before assembly begins.
Anchoring options
Astreea offers dedicated anchoring accessories designed specifically for the Igloo:

planter weights (for hard surfaces)

metal spikes (for soft surfaces)
These accessories are available for purchase on our website.
Anchor screws and bolts
Anchor screws or bolts are not included with the Igloo.
If you do not purchase anchoring accessories from Astreea, you must source appropriate anchor screws from a local hardware store. These must be selected based on the surface where the Igloo will be installed, such as:

wood or decking

stone or other hard surfaces
Choosing the correct anchoring method and hardware is the customer’s responsibility and is essential for safe use.
Tools and equipment to have ready
Before starting installation, make sure you have the following tools and equipment available:

Having all tools ready before you begin will help avoid interruptions during assembly.
Check your packages and components
Before starting assembly:
